Testing
October 8, 2012I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do with this space, but it should be amazing.
My first recommendation for anybody interested in ancient climate reconstruction is the NOAA Paleoclimatology website. Climate is one of the great unheralded causal factors in history, so solid data from periods prior to the beginning of instrumental data collection is essential. My work utilizes tree ring datasets from Morocco and Algeria to try to get a sense of El Nino-spawned climate abnormalities between 1790 and 1810.
I'm a doctoral candidate in African history, working on climate and political instability in the nineteenth century. Watch here!
